Description:

This is a Contract Position

CONTRACT DURATION: Ongoing

OFFICE LOCATION: VIRTUAL US

We are looking for a freelance designer to apply their skills to a variety of projects. This role requires a highly creative and imaginative individual who can operate within the framework of our style and brand guidelines to produce original, diverse, and engaging visual content. Our ideal candidate has a strong portfolio of successful design work, At least 2 years of work experience as a graphic designer(employed or freelancing), and comprehensive, expert-level knowledge of working within design software.

We will share best practices, deliverable expectations, and guide you through the process to make sure you are comfortable and understand your needs.

Qualifications:

Design Skills

  • Strong online portfolio showcasing design ability across brand design, marketing materials & packaging design, web design, digital(social media & online ad design)

  • Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals

  • Proficient with design Software: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator

  • Website design experience using Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, and other content management systems

  • Receptive to feedback

  • Experience in editing video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics is a plus

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and any other web-based coding languages is a plus

  • Accessibility Basics: Designing for Visual Impairment is a plus

  • Designing with an eye for Diversity is a plus

Professional Skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite programs( Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent professional skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, excellent communication skills, takes initiative to start & complete a project

  • Capability to work on simultaneous projects and meet tight deadlines

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong creative and analytical skills

  • 2-5 year work experience(employed or freelancing)

  • Staying up-to-date in design trends, new software, and marketing is a plus

  • Must have their own computer & software
