Cure Diabetes focus on health equity and make diabetes prevention and education accessible to as many people as possible crossing as many cultural barriers as possible. To this end, we want to put diabetes education on wheels and take it directly to underserved, high risk populations in the North Alabama Regions of Madison, Morgan, Limestone, Jackson, DeKalb counties. Reaching out to community centers, senior centers, public housing, and churches where participants feel comfortable and are familiar with the environment.
